Just a quick update because I can.

First of all, the Lightning Thief series doesn't suck like I thought it might. Unlike other books written for the same age group, it doesn't talk down to the readers. Having a good grasp of Greek Mythology helps you figure out crap before it happens though. For instance, on and island of only women, and cages full of guinea pigs, who exactly might the head ladt, C.C. be? I wonder.

I dislike that while the author writes about the Greek Gods being fickle and imperfect, he does not do so for the HEROES god parents. So Posiden didn't RAPE Medusa, and Athena didn't blame Medusa for the rape and curse her. No. Of course not. So except for figuring crap out when it's no longer pertinent, the heroes are pretty cool, all considering.

Also, it's strange that a Latin teacher would refer to the Roman Gods by their GREEK names. Seriously. It's queer.

I got a PSP for Christmas. I also got the games Persona, Crisis Core and Dissideia. Crisis core is very pretty, and the fighting it real time, so it's not boring. But. The leveling up system is very confusing and when good things happen in battle I'm usully unsure what caused it. But I've decided that Zack is SO MUCH BETTER than emo Cloud and Angeal is pretty much awesome.

Persona, the other game I played, is good too. Except I have pretty much no idea what's going on. The game opens up with the "summoning" of a persona by a group of kids (who all can later summon persona for real). Right now the city is under attack by demons, I had to break my friends out of jail, I'm still trying to figure out how I get crap from monsters by "talking to them" and the infamous Igor has yet to show his shnoz. The in game graphics kinda hurt, especially in compasrison to Crisis Core.

Gonna get started on my first comic practice project as soon as I check with the author one last time to see if it's ok if I use her story. I have alot of art I need to do that I've been putting off...

Rawr!l Since only 10 people ever read this, I tag them. Except Scarlet since she already did it.

So I picked up the latest Shippuden manga that was released in America (42 already! wasn't 30 released yesterday?) and was just in time to see the epic Uchiha fight. Now, I realize the interwebs people are REALLY far ahead, but I lagged behind. Mostly because filler in America made me loose interest. As did the thought of downloading so much manga to my computer.

So.

I already knew Itachi died. Didn't know he was actually a stand up guy. So now I like Itachi. Madara, alternatively, I dislike. Sasuke I downright hate. Lemme explain. Itachi died to protect his baby bro from Madara using him against Konoha. He tried to keep Madara from Sasu by putting a boobytrap thingy in Sasuke's mind.

Madara, whom I had liked before this point, revealed his douchebaggery. Thus upholding my theory that douchiness was a prereq to survive the Uchiha massacre. He BLATANTLY manipulated Sasuke by telling him the truth about Itachi. Instead of doing the moral and intellegent thing and respecting his brother's rather obvious wish that Sasu not team up with MAdara to destroy Konoha, Sasu decides that he's gonna go destroy Konoha.

Seriously. It doesn't take a freaking genius. BLATANT MANIPULATION. It was barely masked! Madara was masked, but his MANIPULATION was not! Pisses me off. LEss the manipulator and more the manipilatee. Sasuke pisses me off. I TRIED to empathize with the character in the past, but I just can't anymore. He sucks. I dislike him strongly. Good adversary for NAruto, though, all considering.

The whole fight took up one and a half printed manga volumes. Crap. I'm not looking forward to how many episodes that takes. Naruto's so slow-paced sometimes. You'd think with so much material and story, you wouldn't have to drag so much out all the time.

Which is why I don't really keep up with Naruto anymore. And only have a vauge idea of what's "currently" going on. Except that the only character I liked who isn't dead and who I did not start liking after the character's death would be Kabuto. I hope he doesn't die. And if he does, it better be freaking EPIC.

In other ways Sasuke sucks, please analyze all the people he's killed in Shippuden. Two dying guys and a suicide. Good job. See : [link]

ANYway. Finished Assasin's Creed. Lemme sum up my feelings about the end of that game: ARGH! I sat through hours of glitchy, uncooperative Altair shennanigans for THAT CRAP?!
